Hi Jack

I think I would have to agree with Tom and Bernie on having all the stocks in the basket within the same sector. If you have one stock in one sector flying high and one in another falling like a lead balloon then they could cancel each other out and the NAV would remain steady.

If you would track those individually with Newport one would be calling for a buy and the other for a sell. But your basket is neutral.

Just my opinion.

Hi Jack, always nice to read you posts. On the "Basket Issue" I really can't see it working unless we work the same sector. Now, we as a group can work different industries, but the basket must contain the same type of eggs to benefit.

I for one am interested in finding the potential Gorilla (or leader), the current ones have already surfaced. We can't predict today the changes in our lives over the next 2 years. This is a Revolution in economy & technology...

I think if you review the individual fund managers, you will see they play in one & only one ball park. Sort of like raising Hogs or corn, now some bet on both. Makes me want to buy pigs. Honk...
