Cost of Modern Deep Water Vessels

It just occurred to me that one of the Integrated Oil Companies or one of the larger E&Ps could buy FGH at its lowest Mkt Cap (7 11/16) X (39,883,000 shares) = $306.6 millions last Friday for less money than a state of the art Drilling Ship. How about that! >g< I picked this up in a pamphlet on "How to Start a Rumor". >vbg<

Thanx Sarge, I'm partial to to the Glomar Celtic, being Irish and all. <g>

Wasn't there a public TV special on some umbelievably monstrous deep water rig. I dimly recall the board discussing that show a while back. Supposedly it was the biggest rig yet built, I just don't remember the name.
