I have been to Mexico twice... The first time I went was about 10 years ago...just to Mazatlan (hated it) and then took the bus to PV through Tepic. PV was quite nice for a beach holiday...stayed in the old town. The last time was about 6 years ago. I went to Mexico City, Puebla, Tasco, Cuernavaca (all awesome) and Acapulco (disgusting). I want to go back and I have been doing some reading on Yucatan, Chiapas, and Guatemala. I would fly to Cancun and head straight for Valladolid...on to Merida (looks and sounds beautiful) and then to Chiapas and Guatemala. I would end up in Playa del Carmen for a week of booze and busts and then home.
