Re: "Elmer, re:<If Intel is a monopoly then AMD isn't competitive> Where did you get this hairbrained idea? "

From Websters New World Dictionary:
Monopoly 1. Exclusive control of a commodity or service in a given market, or control that makes possible the fixing of prices and the virtual elimination of free competition.

Re: "Just because Intel cheats doesn't mean they have to win. "

I know.... The old worn out excuse. Intel must be cheating even though you can't produce any evidence you just know it must be true.

Re: "Even outside of monopoly law, the limiting of consumer's choices by punishing companies that offer a choice, does two anti-consumer things: it limits the consumer's purchase choices and by reducing competition it raises prices."

"Punishing" is a exaggeration at the very least and prices have done nothing but drop mainly due to AMD's predatory pricing policies. By your definition, Coke is punishing McDonalds and harming the consumer.

What PROOF do you have that Intel CHEATS ?

Just because Intel is a much better company than AMD, you have to resort to lies and unfounded accusations to support your phony claims.
