Maurice: Once upon a time it was alleged that Globalstar management monitors this thread. Unfortunately, no one seems able to make any decision on anything except BS and he is failing us now. Perhaps it is a little strong to say he has not only failed us but that he is lying about it, but unfortunately that seems to be so. Hope I am wrong on both counts.

Sadly, BS's strengths which some of us relied on to get the system funded and up, do not seem to include the ability to get the system in operation anywhere.

Some of us were concerned about his "style" but swallowed hard on that and hoped all would work out well. In the event, as they say, that hope has been dashed.

Since BS is repeat is Loral and G* , we have no place to turn for relief.

Frustrated in the extreme.

BS has failed us in the crucial area of getting the system, which he deserves great credit for financing and building, into operation commercially.

Will G* go into actual commercial operation sometime, somewhere?

All we can do is hope, and hope, and hope, and......

Chaz

Maurice: One of the bits of irony is that McCaw is treated to favorable treatment in the court system, while NextWave is hindered, hampered and held up for ransom by it. Equal treatment? Doesn't appear so. But then I must not see this correctly. There must be a series of legal points favorable to McCaw, or perhaps his lawyers are better, or perhaps....... Maybe NextWave should have hired McCaw's lawyers - but guess NextWave couldn't have afforded them. Sigh. Chaz PS Perhaps it helps to have "friends at court" - but that was the King's court, no?

Might Globalstar become a premium service to allow one to bypass overloaded land based systems as discussed below?
