There's that word fractionally again. I wonder, if maybe THIS is what was meant by Noam's fractional wavelengths remark?

Ron, can you remember more about what context the term was used?

Also, some of his papers use "quantum wells" in the title, which was mentioned in the foundry tour as a new capability they have with the MOCVD. It was explained well too, just a bit beyond my full comprehension level.

All in all, these new optical developments can bode well for the future.
