The only reward short term is the greater fool theory at work in large cap tech land..

Remember Bob says it is wise to find "excuses" to remain fully invested. Good advice.

I did a quick, back of the envelope comparison of the PEG ratios for the DJIA, S&P500 and NASDAQ. Guess what?

Some like Gruntal's bull Joe B say that the numbers for earnings are conservative. Consider how well "The Street" rewards those that blow away expectations and perhaps there is much truth to this?

I decided Friday to NOT take profits in my tech stocks and to ride the wave higher. To let my allocation to equities carry higher in this wave of positive sentiment. This includes NAZ leaders like AMAT and LRCX as well as HWP and IBM in the DOW.

Listening to Bob on the weekend, he pretty much advised listeners to not rebalance until next year for tax reasons... that means to me he sees less risk of a problem and it is ok to let the tax tail wag the dog for this month. (I plan to take a good dose of HWP profits again -NEXT YEAR- as that one is way up AGAIN in my portfolio. Isn't that a WONDERFUL problem to have?!!)

Anyway, the market may be right and earnings could continue to come in strong for many quarters and years to come.
