Maurice,

HDR uses all the same old parts that the normal CDMA phone uses. All that changes is the digital MSM chip, and not too much at that. Change the symbol engine a little and bolt on a very fast Viterbi Turbo-coder and your going. All the RF parts are exactly the same. So, just remove the MSM3100 from the board and replace it with the MSM4500 and it does HDR. Use the USB to hook it to your computer as a computer modem and your up and running.
