There has been good demand for Dell stock, It's just that the supply at $45 is larger than the demand. The market is forward looking and DRAM prices won't remain high forever, or if they do then the competitors inventory will run out and they will be at their usual disadvantage.

Intel resell Cu CPUs? I wouldn't be surprised if they went out the door at a discount. After all you only have to hit the power button twice.

Jim,
Dram prices have clearly dropped. I think this problem is resolved for now. I have a theory, kinda on life....you have to burn to learn. I watch events /people and this is true, Dell was burnt and many learnings will come of it.

I know your background in cyrix / amd, isn't it premature to be pushing athlon on this thread, volumes are not that high yet.

Dell did not get were they are with amd did they?
