I don't believe there will be a split anytime soon. Perhaps for two reasons:
1. There aren't enough shares authorized (I don't believe) so they would need shareholder approval.
2.Share value as currency...Someone correct me if I'm wrong on this please.


I disagree with you on both points. Shareholder approvals are no big deal. Share value as currency is a non factor. Whether a stock deal is for example 0.60 for each SDLI share or 1.20 for each share post split----the result is exactly the same.

IMHO, a stock split and/or merger is just around the corner. If it is a takeover target, maybe they might pass on a stock split just as OCLI cancelled their once the JDSU takeover happened. Almost makes me feel that it is about to be acquired--a reason for the non-split.
I gotta buy some right away.
