James-- and although you and I would happily take stock from NT or some of the others does not mean TM and some other officers do not see a sweeter deal. Positions, stock options, benificial redemptions,,, the list goes on. All can be done as long as they are not excessively greedy,,

James: You must understand T.M's goals and passions.

a: To place the town of Newbridge in Wales on the world Map.

b: To be recorded in Welsh history as the Newbridge boy who
was one of their greatest Industrialist.

c: To ensure Welsh Rugby ( a sport he loves) is World class thru sponsorship of a Staduim bearing his name.

d: To build a Industrial High Tech park with all amenities bearing the Newbridge name. (Nearly complete)

Based on this, there are only 2 scenarios that fit.

a: Go it alone.
b: Quit for cash which is beyond your expectation.

I doubt any Company will met his scenario b. Because of this, it is more likely that his ego will prevail.

Just reverse roles and check out what you would do if those were your goals.?
