repost for those that do not like venturing in RBSH*T By: traderjade Reply To: None Sunday, 5 Dec 1999 at 3:44 PM EST Post # of 197 Been here for awhile and haven't posted, seems the board isn't too alive. Wondering why there isn't more excitement about this company. The fire extinguishing products are enough in my mind to be excited about, but the other product that I believe will give this company great earnings is the cleaner for gas turbine engines (jets). The FAA already approved it and it has a MIL SPEC number. Being retired Navy and I worked in the gas turbine field I know what this could mean. The Navy uses a cleaner right now that is highly toxic as do the airlines, as I know they welcome ANYTHING that is environmentally safe, I think this will be an explosion of profits for Summit!! The Navy has more aircraft engines than the Air Force!! Not only fixed wing and helicopters, but do any of you realize that all the Navy's combatant ships are gas turbine powered!! The Ticonderoga class cruiser, Spruance class destroyers, Arleigh Burke class destroyers all have 4 main engines and three generators that are gas turbines!! The Perry class frigates have two main engines that are gas turbines. One of the hardest things we had to do was dispose of the waste created from washing the turbines, which is done on at least a weekly if not daily basis depending on the configuration of the engines. What I would have given to have a cleaner that could have been disposed of like regular detergent!! Now throw in the airlines and the distribution to them that is already in place!!! WOW!! Solar a subsidiary of Detroit diesel has already given the OK to use the cleaner on their engines, I don't see why GE, Allison, and others won't give the green light. They all want to be environmentally safe. Sorry for the long post, I think this is another GREAT arena, open market that will generate a HUGE revenue for this company. Maybe this stock and this board will attract more attention and get a boost in the near future and beyond. I wouldn't sell this company OR its recipe!
