That makes sense. Its just that the description neocon gave puts the priest as a host of God/Christ. Priests can forgive sin and perform sacrament as this host. It is one thing to be a scholar of Gods orders it is another to act as God or as God's partner. The latter is what I understand the role of priest to be. I can't justify how such a person could molest alter boys and I can't explain it in this context. Thus; I reject it for myself. I have met priests and consider them generally decent men as men go. But simply a man no more endowed than you or I. I prefer to let God do his own forgiving as I don't believe any of us knows the condition of the others soul.
