These folks quoted some CVD grown diamond a few years ago but it was too expensive ($800 for a 1" X 1" X 0.025"). crystallinematerials.com There are a lot of people working on diamond. One day a Nakamura will come along with a true production method. Maybe we can make some money if we keep our ears to the tracks. JF
