My apologies for taking so long to respond. I wasn't online much until now. E, you are right in that I wish that all the people I like could see what there is to like in one another. As in the 3D world, it isn't possible much of the time. I should simply shrug and move on, saving my moments of intervention for the times when they are actually killing one another rather than simply throwing things. (As the wise old Indian said, "If everyone had the same tastes, everyone would want my squaw!") (rueful smile) I also meant the statement in a broader sense. It is too easy to forget that there are real people at the other end of each posting. I've done it myself and winced afterward at my thoughtlessness. So I thought it worthwhile to share the reminder while I remind myself.
