Mike: You have just given me my excuse to nibble at GMST. Thanks.

Quote. I say the Gem is an enabler because it brings the data to the viewer (unlike a spreadsheet which brings nothing to the viewer other than the format with which the viewer manipulates the data.) I say the Gem is also an app because it allows the end user to manipulate the data just as a spreadsheet does. Unquote.

That is the transmission of data. And my primary investment interest is data transmission.

Off to the market to initiate a position. (Well, after due diligence of course - but mine, not yours)

Chaz

PS Mike, I just read your godzilla comment after posting the above. This is great. What a help in time of need.

Now I have two excuses to do what I wanted to do anyway.

Thanks again.

PPS Looking forward to participation in the GMST discussions here at last. Have felt badly left out up to now.

PPPS (Although I may need to discuss the godzilla aspects on the other thread) Hey. That is good; an excuse to post re GMST on both.

You're right, of course.

You had to read between the lines (hard) to get to the one reason
why I think GMST is an enabler w/r to the viewer's perspective -
and that's the sorting capabilities delivered by the technology.
This is the one thing that you can't get from other guides.

But - this is why I think they're also mostly an app. The very visible part of the technology is the user interface piece.
