Elmer,

DEAR GOD THE POWER FUDD AGAIN.

You are so dumb that you can not figure out the difference between a DC spec and an AC dynamic spec.

Jeez, I know you are not DUMB.

So what is it.

Another desperate attempt to raise FUD.

Give it a rest............puleeze.

Pretty soon you will be telling us that they emulate the instruction profile of a real world app. and then test the ICC on every CPU. Geez even Intels engineers are not so dumb are they Elmer.

regards,

Kash

Elmer, How long does it take to do a thermal dissipation test on a finished CPU? Does Intel do 100 million of them?
Or do they do parametric testing and from that with reference to a data base of tested parts determine that this will be a hot part and that will be a cool part and rate them accordingly? I suspect it is done this way. It would take 10-20 minutes for an equilibium to be reached, so they must have a data base of voltage versus current versus speeds of clock and they run those points and place the part in that "data cube" and from there they mark and sell it.
Now one of you works for a railroad, and i do not think it is Petz.
