Actually I was wondering if I should pickup some Best Buy for a trade yesterday. They got taken down with other retails but my feeling is that they will do better than the other chains because of Athlon.

There could be several explanations for this:

1. AMD machines are selling so fast that the store made the
decision to advertise them even more.

2. AMD machines are selling so slow that the store made the
decision to advertise them even more.

3. There are no Intel machines to sell because of Intel
supply constraints, so the store decided to advertise what
they DO have even more.

4. There are plenty of Intel machines and they are selling
so fast relative to the AMD machines that they don't need
to be advertised as much.

Several other possibilities come to mind, but these are the
most likely to me. Which of these do you believe is the
most likely? Or what other explanation makes more sense to
you?

Frank
