George, I believe you are correct in noticing a change to the bounce -- a bit more gradual. But the key will be the late afternoon action, probably after 2 or 3 pm. Expect a sag shortly. Hopefully that will be gradual. I don't believe the bottom is in yet, but perhaps we are getting closer to the better bounce that iniates a basing. Also, IMO, volume is important.

EDIT -- the bounce just got a bit more life -- another good sign IMO.

George, I agree today's action is a bit different. Many including myself were expecting the selling to be worse. I expected gas prices to lose .10+...didn't happen. Crude is down, but still above $25. Any sort of an afternoon or mid day rally would be very positive.

We're ignoring good news, but maybe we'll also start to ignore the bad...

The next week is very critical. I trimmed so I'm no longer on margin, but staying fully vested here.

I love VPI and it looks cheap, but it's just started to break 10. If this selloff continues I think there could be more downside in VPI than OEI, BR and NBL.
