I tried to find a reason for the selling--checking all the newswires. Thanks for the answer.

CEO selling some shares----not a big deal at all.

I am not sitting tight on my shares but am adding on every opportunity i get---a few March call options whenever i get the chance.

Selling 12,000 shares (@ approx 250) for $3M is an absolute YAWN!!.

That's not the reason why JDSU tanked today.
