Biowa:

I've never assumed that "path calling" or "pathogenesis calling" would lead to too many transcript-related patents. I just assumed that it would lead to screening patents and later to composition of matter stuff.

Dear Mr. Market: This is really great data that will lead to products (both
therapeutic and diagnostic) much faster than silly old genomics. It's further down the
pathway and relates the genes to actual disease states. It also suggests interrelations
(sorry Mr. Market, I'll try to use simpler words) between the various transcripts that
can't be derived from simple sequence. It also is a nice validation of the SAGE
technology. Over here! Over here! Get your GZMO over here (but not from me)

On behalf of Mr. Market, thank you for a breakdown in layman terms of what this research information means. I have been reading this thread from post #1 trying to understand if I should invest (not trade) into this company.

I very much appreciate the no-nonsense professional approach to this thread. I do not have the medical or technical background to decipher the almost cryptic language used in the various research studies. Nonetheless, the attempts by just about everyone (generic acknowledgement to all posters), helps me make sense of these medical reports.

Again, Thanks to all.
