Dell@CSCO. Whether Dell moves with NTT's (or NOK's) WCDMA, CSCO, Qualcomm's HDR, or MCOM Richochet, or a combination of the four, isn't as relavent as the changing paradigm that is coming. if you, the company want to move your office building from wired to wireless, you do one of two things (a) buy expensive modems for each unit designed for wireless or (b) buy entire new wireless units which contain wireless adepts. the cost of buying individual modems per unit vs. buying an entirely new unit with wireless adaptations built-in would approximate 15% to 20% greater for the whole new unit, i.e., indivdiually priced wireless modems (averaging $400 to $700 from CSCO utilizing LMDS or MMDS environment) will only be slightly less than a whole PC with a wireless adaptations built-in

you apply this scenario across all product lines contained within your office. you also apply this against the fact that Dell's Web site is one of the most visted sites to purchase internet related products in the world.

how can Dell screw this up?
