If campaign finance reform would clean up politics a little I'm in favor of it. I think it's a step in the right direction. I don't think it's the total solution.

Don't Rosie O'Donnell and Dan Rather have their half-hour say now? I'm not sure I follow you on how there wouldn't be an opportunity to respond to Rosie's ravings if campaign finance reform was implemented.

I think you make a very important point just by mentioning the little guy. I've always believed it is more of a case of "We the People" vs. all government, instead of the GOP vs. the Democrats. But I'm not sure how campaign finance reform would stifle that voice.

McCain shell shocked? How about indomitable?
My memory is too poor to get into what he said about Kosovo so I'll have to defer to you. But if he didn't think we should be there can't we assume that as President he wouldn't make the same type of commitment?
