Lizzie,

Historically, the "catalyst" has been a change in social psychology. Railroads were "cheap at any price," then they weren't. Same for cars, radio, TV, airlines, etc.

It happens. When? Beats me, but it always happens. Sorry.

regards,

doug

Therefore I see upwards potential in software.

I do too. Great software can provide a high quality and high efficiency process to people, but some are forgetting that the development of that technology is just getting going. What do you think of Microsoft's prospects at this point? It's odd to see them doing so well, and have their stock stand still. Do you agree, they'll turn in an awesome quarter financially once again?

My choice in software is still Rational Software -- RATL. They are the leading provider of software development tools (automation, case management, etc.), and while they may not be the boomer that CMRC has been this year, their future holds a great deal of promise. (Almost) everybody doing serious software development uses their tools.
