Sorry no link, was stated by vJohn Inch, Managing Director, Bear Stearns on a CNBC interview yesterday (12/9) at about 3:30PM. Don't know whether CNBC archives those interviews at their web site, and a bit too busy now to check it out, so feel free.
Cheers
Alohal

To All, This month's Online Investor Magazine features an article on yours truly, page 24. It is on sale at better magazine racks everywhere. If you don't care for the subject matter, fellow SIer David Z is the author, so back his hand. <g> Look for the issue with the binoculars on the cover.

Aloha1:

You write:

<BTW, surely you've also read that the SEC investigation will also focus on short selling (by Tice? his "Prudent"<ggg> Bear fund? Friends, family & associates?)immediately prior to the release of his original report.>

What is wrong with Tice selling short and then expressing his analysis of Tyco's accounting games ? He believed in his analysis and possibly went short. What is wrong with that. Isn't it similar to a fund going long on MSFT because their analysis showed strong financials.

Anyway, why should investors listen to Tice and kill Tyco stock ? It is not that his investments are doing well lately. On those lines Bill Fleck has been writing quite critical analysis of MU and even declared that he was short MU. Did investors listen to Bill and dump MU stock. He probably wished they did :-(
