O. Media, Inc. Announces Development of Women's Portal, ShesGotNetwork.com
PALM SPRINGS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 9, 1999--The ShesGotItTogether.com Women's Online Network, a subsidiary of the communications conglomerate O. Media, Inc. (OTC BB:OMDA), announced today plans for reorganization of the websites within the ShesGotItTogether.com Women's Online Network.
O. Media will develop www.ShesGotNetwork.com, which will act as the main portal of the women's online network. The new portal will enable Internet users to access all of the sister sites within the ShesGotItTogether.com Women's Online Network from one central location. ShesGotNetwork.com will have search engine capabilities that will allow visitors to search all of the sites within the network from the ShesGotNetwork.com homepage. The new portal will be accessible by entering the ShesGotNetwork.com web address, or any of the web addresses within the network.
From ShesGotNetwork.com, Internet visitors will be able to visit all of the websites currently included in the Women's Online Network, including the flagship website, www.ShesGotItTogether.com, which broaches a plethora of topics of concern to women.
The new women's portal will also feature debut websites to the Women's Online Network. ShesGotEmpowerment.com will address career, family, parenting, small business and home office, advice, women's issues, health, success stories, Internet and technology, an auto guide, headline news, horoscopes, and humor columns. SGITWelcomeHome.com will cover antiques, home decorating, gardening, entertaining ideas, and streaming video with live cooking demonstrations. ShesGotKids.com will be an all kids websites for children ages 5 through 12 and will debut a children's animated series. ShesGotEntertainment.com will host O. Media's Cyber Entertainment Division, which contains the popular cyber-soap opera, Charmer's Landing, and cyber-sitcom, The Estrogen Files. ShesGotVote.com will cover election news, candidate interviews, polling results, and a public discussion forum. ShesGotSports.com will feature women's sports, gear, and fitness.
