JDN & Lynn,

That's what I'm using my Roth for. My regular account is all taxable, so I look to hold stuff there for a long time. But my spouse's and my Roths are for trading. When I saw the bloodletting yesterday, I sold all of my Roth JDSU at market, and two seconds later bought TYC at market ($26).

I'll hold the TYC until they pull the supports out of something else I follow closely and have confidence in. The EMC Y2K scare this Spring was a beauty, as was the WCOM - Sprint merger announcement (dropped WCOM to the 60's).

I get to play a little like the 401K/IRA boys and girls, and the taxman won't come knocking for a few years.

Basically, though, I'm a believer in buying and holding good ones, as opposed to flipping them as the best strategy.

Marc
