HYC was up 13.1% on heavy volume (a player in this industry (thanks Yonni for your comments)). IVI's volume on the TSE (IVI, IVC) was heavier than normal, with a few firms doing the accumulating. I think something is brewing.

I probably believe little of what the Globe says, even less the RCMP. The point is the impact these kinds of statements have on others, and the market. Interestingly, a few hours after they made that somber statement about the financial system being compromised, the RCMP basically did a retraction, and said, in fact, the system was quite safe, and people had little to worry about. I read a couple of commentators speculate on the phone calls they got from the bank execs that made them change their tune :) I'd be interested in hearing more about those biometric companies you mention.
