Let me see if i understand.

Are you suggesting Wind should incorporate Linux Support to prevent any inhibition of product adoption by others writing applications using linux, thereby enhancing WIND VxWorks ability to become the de facto embedded OS?

Appreciate your willingness to help the inquisitive but technology challenged.

Voop

lkj---Thanks for your analysis of real time Linux. I've got to admit, that you left me a little in the dust. Your critical understanding of system issues reminds me of the insight that Allen Benn used to bring to this thread. But, it is just a bit above my level of understanding. To help me get up to speed, could you define the following terms:

Tool (support)
Application (support)
Browser
Plug in

I know this is basic, but I'd really appreciate a short course from you in this.

Thanks----Peter, Civil Engineer
