Bruce Brown will be happy to see i2 is being added along with ntap and pmcs.

I'm usually happy. Now your QQQ investment has some legs to stand on with all of the new additions including my former small-cap favorite. If they would clear out the remainder of the 43 stocks I wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole from the QQQ, I might take a look at that 'mutual fund'. ;-)

I was surprised to see muei on the delete list. I stopped followed them in 1Q99 when I punched out of dell, and hadn't noticed how badly they've fallen. The boxmaker sector has surely been investor unfriendly this year.

In relative terms of CAP and GAP, the market has spent the year struggling with the premise of price/sales ratios for the major players. Considering Dell's PSR went from 2.4 in 1997 to 7.6 in the spring of 1999 - is it any wonder that Mr. Market is trying to figure out what the heck PSR relative to CAP and GAP each of the box makers should get at this point in the technology adoption life cycle? We all know what the best business model is, but Mr. Market takes its time in sorting it all out. The major players are not going to fall off the face of the earth, but the market does need to spend this time doing the adjustment in metrics. In terms of MUEI, I'm not surprised to see the demise of this company.

In the meantime, there are plenty of stocks with PS ratios of 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 and much higher to chase. <ggg>
