American Spirit, that's the spirit. A good post on Sony PSII which has been discussed a lot here lately, from the LSI thread. Patrick also mentions hard drives, and implies maybe a little threat to Intel (from PSII)?

RE: "Wall Street Journal last week had a big article about how chips will have to be rationaed next year due to a grave shortage."

What type of chips? There are many different types of chips with different margin pressures, so the type of chip actually matters (i.e. PC chips, Server chips, chips for STB, chips for wireless IA, chips for hand-helds, chips for cell phones, chips for graphics, etc., etc.) Would you please post the type of chips which are experiencing the shortage.

Thanks,
Amy J
