Rande: Some "forward thinking" and LPTHA: (If you have already discussed this and I missed it, please forgive me.)

I would presume that it is quite unusual for companies like AT&T and J.P. Morgan to invest in secondary offerings of companies that have $269K in 1998 earnings. But they did. It does not take too much imagination to connect "T" with Lightpath, as we all know where they are going. The J.P Morgan investment requires a little more imagination. Just suppose that LPTHA is planning on spinning off the Lightchip division as an IPO. Perhaps JPM is positioning itself as a lead underwriter. Can you imagine Tom Candelera "at the Nasdeq big board" on CNBC talking about the new fiber optic IPO rocket? This is just playful conjecture. No basis in fact.....but then again....
