Petz, Thanks for the SDS data in your area. If Athlon reaches 80% proleferation(now at 68% from your table) that would be a great achievement for the Athlon product. Here is another piece of info that may help Chuck in analyzing the current situation - As per this link to AMD resellers update, AMD offering $30 rebates for Athlon + compatible mother board combo. Also, there is a mention of FIC mobo temporary price reduction (which has already been observed at Price Watch and was posted here). www1.amd.com _____________________________________ Also look at this reseller site's(Shophere USA.com) home page - it's all the Athlon stuff 205.164.161.100 Most of the computer reseller sites still display Intel CPUs prominently on their home pages, but Athlon is slowly changing that!
