BTW the outcome, regardless of the consideration received, is much better than I expected and an example of what I consider good management. I had expected that Connectics could not pay or rather was not going to pay and that XOMA would simply get the rights back and have another technology available for licensing. And since the original $$$ were know for the original deal one could hardly think of this as some multi million dollar thing.

Now another company has picked up the technology, there is cash consideration, stock and royalties. Would an inept management have been able to reach this type of agreement. Probably some on Yahoo will be demanding that Castello, get a raise.
