But their children won't just "catch" that exceptionalness from their mothers like a disease- SOMEONE has to help them be exceptional. If they want to pay other people to be with their kids - fine - but unless one is an incompetent parent WHY would you do that? And if you are an incompetent parent, and someone else can parent better, should you be reproducing? I don't think so. The whole point of biological life is reproduction, and raising offspring. Working is merely away to sustain ourselves so that we can reproduce. It is the epitome of our function- but a lot of people seem to think reproduction is getting pregnant and spitting out a baby. IT is NOT. It also has to do with reproducing in your children the kind of people you would like to se the planet populated with. I do not want to leave that job up to other people.
