That's a good point.

But the bettors have LOST against Intel - not AMD !

Maybe Intel will repeat the IAPX432 failure - on a grander scale.

Then again, maybe Intel is sowing the seeds for the eventual displacement of the x86 architecture by a COMPATIBLE CPU with an even more compelling architecture on the same chip !
