Hi Jim,..Re:.By the way it does look like the addition of Vanderslice could signal a change in direction for DELL toward technical leadership.

That would be great! Maybe I should forward the ideas below so he can get a headstart? <g>

You and Rudy certainly did nail down the seemingly large obstacles that maybe the market also notices.

Thanks for your remarks,

Lee

jim...we are in total agreement

a "clean" operation as dell, has every right to speak loudly of itself and its forward vision. it has always done so in the past. my concern is the general silence of msd. he was very vocal on his book tour, and will make announcements about his personal wealth diversification, but only speaks chapter and verse about the growth and numbers, which are obvious to anyone who can read a balance sheet.

whether you or i like it, things have changed, and as earlier discussed may not revert. value means nothing in the equity markets, and the longer it means nil, the more disconnect occurs as the next wave of analysts have no idea who graham or buffett are. this is evolution, and "bogus" or not, if enough practice it, soon morphs to a perverse "reality" it is a change in the thought process, fueled with incredible amounts of cash inflows. right now all of the "establishment" are calling for the "bubble burst"........it never happens when it is expected....barring any social or economic unrest, the markets will continue to reward the "bogus"........and that cannot be denied...
