I agree with you David, what we're seeing here is the law of the market being applied... and gravity still rules. There is a phrase from Abby Joseph Cohen that I like very much: she was responding to a question, I think it was during Wall Street Week with Louis Rukeyser one year ago after the swing the market endured following the asian crisis: To the question of how she was feeling in regards to the market swings, she said something like: "You have to ask yourself: is it a market event or is it an economical event?" Period. I think you can apply this thinking to movements in individual equity as well. At least it provides a base of thinking. Regards, Serge
