Marty,
I have run TC2000 on both WIN98 release 1 and 2
without trouble.
You are going to hate my suggestion.<<GG>>
Unistall TC2000 using something like Norton Cleansweep
(deleting the TC2000 folder if needed)
If you have Norton Utilities, run System Check.
Rerun you WIN 98 upgrade.
Make sure your modem is functioning properly with IE5.
reinstall TC2000.
