Short interest as of 11/99 is in the top 20 on the NYSE. It won't take much more good news to cause shorts to run for cover. There simply is no compelling reason to sell this fundamentally sound stock. Added today and friday in the 88 range.

Kenneth, i know this is just a matter of personal hunch, but you know a lot more about this than i:
whom do you think benefitted more: nt from bay, or lu from asnd? my hunch is the latter - but i don't know who kept more of their acquiree's key people. do you?
also do you have any thoughts you'd be willing to share anent my post to BR today on the lu thread?
