Pauly,
RE:"Of course.

Intel gives each retailer $175,000 for each PC in each ad for each week that it is advertised.

They give the retailer an additional $538,213 if no AMD ads appear concurrently with the Intel ad.

Further, every member of the FTC and DOJ is given an all expenses paid vacation for two to the South Pacific Island of their choice, for three weeks, including a private, chartered Boeing 777 with full crew - this is done to make sure their are no legal repercussions from the advertising kick-backs."...

Where do I sign up?

Jim

Paul,

I've been watching the Bronco/Jacksonville football game and just saw my first Athlon commercial tonight.

A guy is told to choose a pc to save him from having a train run right through his office. He chooses the "slower" Pentium pc and the train devastates him and of coarse the voice says he should have chosen the "faster" Athlon.

I can't imagine that this commercial will do much for AMD except cost a bunch.

AMD trying using humor to sell speed didn't impress me but I'm biased. Any other opinions?

Barry
