Mucho Maas: Chuckle. Since Frank asked me to defend my seconding of a nomination, I was asking you to do the same in seconding Frank's characterization of SNDK. Can you make a case that SNDK is a "shiny pebble" or a "snowball"? Curious.

SNDK is now selling for $79.75. That is well below its all time high, but what does that prove?

Actually I was fortunate enough to buy SNDK during the absurd drop it took when the Taiwan earthquake disaster was completely misunderstood on the "street". My short involvement as an investor dates from that time. Not the "bottom" but near it.

However, I had been doing DD since Ausdauer's presentation of his case which was thoroughly researched and done in GG terminology.

I repeat that to me it was the best piece of research, analysis and presentation for a company on this board, with the exception of Mike's on the Q.

What happened, silence. He received no replies, no interest. Only Mike asked him some questions for clarification and then silence again.

Others including NY Stew (as I recall - perhaps incorrectly) have thought SNDK worth considering since but silence has reigned.

A simple dismissal by calling it a shiny pebble is not persuasive IMO.

What is the substance of the dismissal?

PS In case anyone is actually interested, Ausdauer first posted on May 28, 1999 in post # 2295 and his first nomination post using the tornado as his first subject was post # 2379 - and he went on from there with several more until his last post on the subject at the following link:
