Hi Duncan!!

I think that Willie Brown will probably win the runoff, but not by a really wide margin. Tom Ammiano's supporters are much more energized and more likely to vote.

Willie Brown is horribly corrupt, and treats San Francisco like his own private playground and graft procurement center. He is out for himself and his wealthy friends and acquaintances who are now being investigated by the FBI, etc.

I would much rather have someone in office who is very ethical, rather than belonging to any particular ideology. Tom Ammiano is ethical. By the same token, I would be perfectly comfortable with Bill Bradley or John McCain as president, because I think they are both more ethical than Gore or Bush, even though their platforms vary widely. I would just trust them to do a better job.
