Isn't Oakland the birthplace of Ebonics?

I don't know a lot about what Jerry Brown is doing in Oakland, Lizzie. Housing prices are going up rapidly and he is encouraging the redevelopment of the downtown area, and lots of artists are involved in government with him.

He definitely is a capitalist--he believes housing prices will just rise and that's that. The problem of where the poor will go as they can no longer afford to live anywhere in the Bay Area is an interesting question, however.

I supported Brown in his presidential bid, and hope that he runs again. I am excited by radical thinkers and people who are concerned about the future and what kind of world we leave for our children and grandchildren, so his ideas are interesting to me.

Ebonics is a failed way of teaching black children that he has had nothing at all to do with, incidentally.
