Yes, it is tough to figure out the best way of handling things.I had a third grade teacher go out of her way to get me to admit that something was wrong, when that was not the issue. The issue was more speculative: could anything be done about it? Had I listened to her, I would have accepted Ds and not expected him to have learned long division....If your family is close, and your husband spends time with the kids and you, you are doing well. Someone has to have a regular job. I was fortunate, my wife was a college administrator with some flexibility and an office nearby, so we were very close knit. Now, she is commuting into Washington, and it is harder, but we still make time for the three of us to be together.....
