I think that it is not free access what people want. I think that it is what they get after a dialup access is what is important to users. And that is where AOL rules. And it takes a large team of web developers working for a long long time to get to where AOL is today. I think MSFT realized this some 5 to 6 months ago. And they went ahead and also raised their membership rates to match that of AOL after threatening free Internet access earlier after they realized that only content quality will get them an increase in membership. And you can see that in the recent redesign of MSN.
