Everyone knew/knows:

Victor - you know it seems that everyone knows nothing will happen with Y2k - that we'll all wake up on the morning of Jan 1 and everything will work just fine.

But I wonder if some time over the next two weeks, some investors might say to themselves "I really don't believe anything will happen with Y2k, but you know, I don't think I really want to take the chance - I've made a lot of money since October on this incredible Nasdaq run - I think I'll take some money off the table - just to be safe - then if nothing happens, I'll get back in in January. I may miss a few points - but hey, it's worth it to avoid the risk."

Personally, I don't believe anything will happen with Y2k. But it will be interesting to see if we do see some investors reducing their exposure over the next two weeks - just in case.

What do you think?
