Bob: Corel Linux is not just red hot, it's "white hot." Installed my copy of the deluxe version yesterday. The install routine is so simple, it puts windows back into "dos" territory. Further: 1. The deluxe package comes with the full version of WP8 plus 200 fonts. (The lack of fonts has been a prior complaint about Linux apps.) 2. The internet responds much faster with Netscape running in Linux than Explorer running in windows, whether or not you have a high speed connection. For the masses that may be connected at 56K, this performance boost is significant. If you are a person who spends most of your time on the net, Corel Linux is an inexpensive and wonderful opportunity. 3. You cannot underestimate the "stability factor" of the Linux OS. The Linux Desktop allows four different desktop views all accessible from the taskbar. With Linux, you can literally open several instances of the Netscape browser in each desktop view. Example: You can open 8 instances of the browser in each of the 4 desktop views, thus allowing 32 separate browser views--all without crashing. Sorry, windows can't even get near it. 4. How much money do companies spend for IT personnel who must service win clients after myriads of lockups? How much time is lost with each re-boot after lockups, not to mention possible lost work? Corel Linux is going to lower the overall total cost of IT, and save a few headaches for employees. Finally, over the next few months, considering the the myriads of desktops in businesses and institutions that basically need office ware, top net performance, and most critically, "stability," Corel Linux is the platform to jump from. Further the coming WP Suite for Linux will be the Office Suite of choice for Linux. Cheers, Scott
