Jan, The secular bull market in bonds that started in 1981, has been still thought to be intact, by many of the Wall Street houses.

They have had their top technicians on CNBC saying this over the past 6 -9 months, recently (the past 6-8 weeks) though this longer term bull market in bonds, is coming into question.

the 6 year trend line that Is on that yield chart that I showed is roughly the line that MER uses

If the bond bull market is over then the secular bull mkt in stocks will be ending in the near future as well.
