I understand earnings are to be release on the 17th, is this correct and if so what time of the day, before or after the close? If I'm wrong about the date correct me there also! Thanks in advance!

Hank

Nat,

In many forums on SI I have noticed that if you are not bullish on a stock you are immediately open for attack and questioned. Such is the case with me here...although I do like COMS value I have continued to argue that their networking business is not whole. However to get quickly to the point and wrt wireless, Mehrdad made a comment that COMS is a leader in wireless - citing company press releases. I challenged him to which he reponded "it must be true because COMS says it is". He apparently is not held to the same standard (as is the case with every bull on every thread) as those that have perhaps a non-corporate bias. So, when I found additional data (which every time I post new factual data I get beat up - I guess that's your perogative) I post it. Rather than taking the data for what it is many feel attacked by it... but it is data meant to set the record straight.

I know COMS has a leading product in a niche in the wireless market - this doesn't make them a leader in wireless. But I suppose COMS has the right to position it this way. But it clearly is misleading to some and was misleading to Mehrdad and therefore I posted the actual data. of course since it doesn't support COMS claim of leadership everyone feels the need to challenge it. Perhaps you all should write to the analyst. I'm just posting the data.

And yes, there are those on the LU thread that don't agree with me either but I think you'll find that this and the LU thread are about the only two where there is a difference of opinion...and for what it's worth the LU threaders are very similar in that they come to protect their company. it's no longer about making money for them - it's about "winning". Well, winning to me is making my portfolio grow... and I use this forum to learn... which brings me to the actual point of this post.

I have no interest in being asked to support my positions when I have already done so merely to make the longs here feel better about their investment. If you don't like the data i post you can either ignore it or you can post the person that put the data together. I think looking at all the data is being objective.. and I think looking at COMS as an investment is also very objective. But to ignore the data simply because you have a big investment here is not a smart investment move and is certainly not being objective. Finally, I will it admit I do find it more than just a little irritating that I have to spend time appeasing those, like yourself, that come into the middle of a conversation without having done the background. Like I said, I'm aware where COMS is wrt to wireless and Mehrdad made a claim that he can not substantiate. I was merely posting data in hopes of clearing up that position. Now we're in a pissing contest.... all over my post intended to add light to a conversation I had with Mehrdad...and yes, I find that you have interjected into something you clearly have no background in and that is irritating and that is why were are down this hole. I think everyone has heard enough...however I have no doubt you will feel the need to respond so please do and then we'll call it a day.

Good evening.
